Education

The free-to-attend seminar programme at PLASA 2016 sees two show-floor theatres hosting topics from world-class designers, production teams and consultants involved with some of the world’s best known venues, prolific tours and major global entertainment and sporting events taking place this year.

There will also be updates and developments discussed in Phil Ward’s audio panel sessions, as well as brand new issues to debate, and more career enhancing audio education from the Soulsound team.

What's on offer in 2016

  • Enhance your business skills with a social media masterclass, attend a personal development session focussing on presentation techniques, or understand better how to become tax efficient in your own business operation.
  • First-rate content is offered, as always, from our industry partners – the ALD, ASD, IPS, STLD, BECTU, The Theatres Trust and the ISCE.
  • The Rigging Conference will run alongside PLASA 2016 on Monday 19th September. With the opening key-note from well-known rigger and founder of Stage Rigging Inc. - Rocky Paulson - the 1-day programme will also feature sessions looking at the chain of responsibilities involved in staging a production and an in-depth look into the complex discipline of performer flying. The full programme and delegate registration will be available shortly.
